light dress for a warm summer day!

Yesterday, I decided I wanted to make a new dress ... By the time I had finished work and bought the fabric, it was 6pm ...  Eager as I am, I got started straight away ... putting the pattern on the fabric, cutting, sewing ... 10pm ...

So proud of my dress! And I've been wearing it withese tropical temperatures!

Yes, I've been a busy bee ... I have made a new pair of pants, a matching top, and a new skirt ... Today I'm testing myself ... While I'm usually pretty conservative when it comes to clothing, I have decided to wear the bright blue pants and top! Exciting! But, is it good enough? Is it beautiful enough? I lack confidence when it comes to wearing the clothes I make ...

The result of my weekend!

What a weekend! Awake early ... so time to do the chores around the house ... at 9 am I had finished and was ready to buy fabric ... a Saturday of cutting the fabric, sewing, undoing and sewing again ... by 7pm, the dress was nearly finished ... I needed a break so I met up with a friend for coffee! Nice ... chatting away! Sunday morning, awake at 6 am ... Time to finish up the dress! At 11 am, I can say the dress is finished and I enjoyed my weekend!
